Summer is coming up quickly! There’s no better way to start off than with what’s hot (and not just the outdoors in general). This week we’ll be talking about swim suits that won’t show off too much. We’re bringing classy back with high-waisted bottoms.
This style that goes higher than just your waist has became very popular over the last couple years but has made a big appearance in fashion over the last 2-3 years. Like all good things, this fashion is far from new. High-waisted jeans came became popular in the 40’s when women started working in factories for the war effort. The 40’s was a more modest time and that is one of the several things that makes these bottoms amazing.
For many people, bathing suits can be hard to choose, especially if they are more “skimpy”. The revolutionizing of high-waisted brings a sense of modesty, class, and poise, no matter what the pattern. Some of the classiest women in history wore high-waisted bottoms, such as Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, and Grace Kelly.

These bottoms come in any possible pattern you could ever want, and this is only a small variety. When going with a pattern, I personally would pick floral (because I consider it a color). This style will let you stand out from the crowd and look good while doing it.
